Air Hygiene Inspection and Testing Programmes provide compliance with Approved Codes of Practice L21 and L24. Air Quality Testing is important to ensure that the Hygienic Condition of all ventilation systems are free from bacteria and fungi contamination. These tests include detailed inspection and testing of Air Handling Plant, Ductwork, In-line Components and also Air-Conditioning Equipment. "Mechanical ventilation systems (including air conditioning systems) should be regularly and properly cleaned, tested and maintained to ensure that they are kept clean and free from anything which may contaminate the air.
