In conjunction with the councils engineer the boiler plant at a local school has been upgraded. The existing oil fired plant was replaced with new gas fired heating boilers and an independent gas fired hot water heater.

All boiler room pipework, circulating pumps and controls etc were also replaced. The benefits obtained by the school are:

• Energy efficient plant – reduced running costs.
• Summer use – hot water heater only – reduced running cost.
• No oil storage required – less environmental risk and no possibility of running out fuel.
• No longer any asbestos in boiler room – safe environmental.
